Welcome to another "Real Talk" episode of GEEKING POETIC PODCAST! Somehow this episode either wound up being deleted or not uploaded to the site when we recorded this months back, and it was a really fun and interesting discussion so we're putting it back up for your listening pleasure (or displeasure)!!
In this episode, spurred on by our lengthy discussion on the works of Stephen King, we decided to have a real discussion about the things that scare us the most. There are elements of King's stories that definitely strike a nerve with each of us, the kinds of things that fuel nightmares and sleepless nights, but we also have our own personal demons and horrors to contend with. We discuss those things as well as get into some other stuff that really gets into our heads, and some unusual tales and phobias we've each experienced throughout our lives! The fear of ghosts, or confined spaces, or mental insanity, possessed statues, hauntings, etc., are all discussed here and we share some real-life stories that explain some of why these things scare us the most. Sit back and enjoy, perhaps keep the lights on too, just to be safe.....

Welcome everyone to the first episode of our new show here on the Geeking Poetic Podcast channel, entitled THE GEEKING SQUAD PODCAST! This will be our flagship audio podcast where we touch on a variety of topics that we discuss and share in our Facebook group known as The Geeking Squad. The Geeking Squad group is open to anyone who is interested in discussing and sharing info and articles on various geeky subjects such as sci-fi, horror, comedy, action/adventure, cartoons, comic books, music, memes, UFO conspiracies, ancient history and legends and much more! We'll choose certain topics shared in the group and discuss them on the podcast, and we'll be uploading a new episode on the first and third Wednesday of every month. In this installment, we finally get around to completing the STEPHEN KING RETROSPECTIVE that we started in our very first episode back in May 2018! We've divided this into three separate episodes for easier listening. This is the third and final part where we cover the movies, tv, and books we enjoyed from the years 2010 thru 2019. We're back once again with another Star Trek The Original Series retrospective, this time taking a look at the classic two part episode THE MENAGERIE. This is definitely one of the best episodes of the Original Series and we were very eager to discuss it.

Welcome to Geeking Poetic Podcast, and our latest "audio-cast" discussion about all things DINOSAURS!! Inspired by our recent retrospective look at the Jurassic Park film trilogy, we sit down and discuss our personal fascination with dinosaurs, our own theories and opinions on experiments with dinosaur DNA, and Megan gives us a thorough history lesson on the legendary Bone Wars that not only provided us with many of the fossils and facts we've come to know, but also much of the controversy and uncertainty surrounding much of those old Paleo discoveries. It's a fun discussion that we really enjoyed, and hope you enjoy it as well!

Welcome to the latest Geeking Poetic Podcast discussion. In this episode we are talking about the AREA 51 RAID, an event built around the idea of storming into the government base that was planned by 20 year old Matty Roberts on Facebook purportedly as a joke, that has taken on a life of it's own and now has well over a million people claiming they are going to participate. The military has taken notice and said they will use deadly force if necessary to stop this event from transpiring. In this podcast we discuss the details behind how this all began, the mentality and reasoning behind the people who want to see it go down, and our thoughts on whether or not such an event should even be attempted and what the likely outcome will be.
