Welcome to GEEKING POETIC! On this episode of "Geeking Wax FAQs", your hosts Larry Roberts and Matt Valuckis discuss the legendary rock band VAN HALEN! Since the band has such a long history and a large catalog of music, in this installment they are focusing specifically on the DAVID LEE ROTH era of the band, which consisted of six albums released between 1978 and 1984, as well as a seventh "comeback" album released in 2012. So in honor of the anniversary of the first VAN HALEN album being released back in February 1978, Matt and Larry attempt to rank the albums from their personal favorite to the least (but admit that all of the albums are great!) Plenty of history and insights are discussed on each album, and certainly some debate over why they ranked them as they did! Starring Patrick Stewart as Retired Admiral Jean-Luc Picard, this season (reportedly the last) sees him going on a new adventure at the edge of space along with many of his old cohorts from Star Trek: The Next Generation! Larry and Megan are excited to discuss their thoughts and insights on this second episode with all of it's amazing reveals and action, but be warned that there are spoilers ahead so if you haven't watched the episode yet, tread carefully! In this episode we get to meet a new Trek villain, revisit some more old familiar faces, and find out about some rather shocking plot reveals!
